The Brief
DHX Media needed a suite of mobile apps for the relaunched Teletubbies brand that would engage pre-school children worldwide while meeting the exacting brand standards of one of the most recognisable children's properties in television history.
My Role
As Producer and Creative Director at Cube Interactive, I oversaw the creative direction, UX design, and production management of the Teletubbies app suite, working closely with DHX Media's brand team to ensure every interaction felt authentically Teletubbies.
Approach
Working with a globally recognised brand meant every design decision was scrutinised. We designed interactions specifically for very young children — large touch targets, simple cause-and-effect mechanics, and audio-visual feedback that rewarded exploration rather than requiring reading or complex navigation.
Outcome
The Teletubbies apps launched successfully across iOS and Android, receiving positive reviews from parents and educators. The project demonstrated Cube's ability to work with major international brands at the highest production standards.
