The Brief
The Welsh Government commissioned a word-based educational app through Canolfan Peniarth. The app needed to make Welsh-language literacy engaging for children through play rather than formal instruction.
Approach
Tinint developed SABA as a playful word game that builds vocabulary and literacy skills naturally. The app was designed to feel like a game first and a learning tool second, keeping children engaged while they develop their Welsh-language skills.
Outcome
SABA provided a strong Welsh-medium literacy resource, demonstrating that educational apps work best when they prioritise fun and let learning happen through the gameplay itself.
